Wanna host a workshop? 

We're taking over our 120m showcase space Saturday afternoon to explore designs, collect materials, and host workshops on how we can re-purpose the materials around us every day. 

Everyone is welcome! You can participate in any of the following activities, or get in touch/post to the event if youd like to host your own workshop!

Current Workshops (will keep updated):
PRACTICAL PALLETS (all day)
Preston will be ripping apart pallets or using the materials you bring to construct practical pieces of furniture like coat hangers, bookshelves, and side tables like the ones pictured in the event image.. Afterwhich we'll sand, paint, and take home! 

TEXTILE ARTS & CRAFTS (all day)
Sylvia is an XCHC resident and will be using her sewing machine to teach textile workshops on things like card-making and bag-making using recycled materials and fabrics you bring! It can be any size of scrap or she'll have some options you can choose from. 

THINGS TO BRING
• $5 suggested koha for the day.
• Tools, scissors & basic sewing kit, power tools, paints, anything we can use to create.
• A desire to learn and have fun
• Ideas for designs (pinterest is a good source)
