Open Source Bar: Italy
Host: Brie Sherow
Monday, June 12th
7:00pm - 9:00pm
376 Wilsons Rd N
Last month we launched our extended hours with Open Source Bar, a party where we opened 12 bottles of wine and let you pick the glass pours. We learned a lot, we laughed a lot, we drank some pretty bomb wines. We’re ready for round two and this time we’re going to Italy!
Come and expand your horizons beyond Sauv Blanc and Pinot Noir cause we’ll be pouring Vermentino, Schiava, and ancient vine Trebbiano Spoletino. We’ll taste our way across the country from Trentino all the way down to Sicilia, featuring many organic and biodynamic producers along the way. $3 per taste, try as many or as few as you’d like. It's first come first serve, and these wines are in short supply, so don't miss out and cast your vote Monday June 12th so we can order more of your favourites.
We'll also be making a couple of cocktails, serving our bar menu (seasonal soup, cheese & pickles, quesadillas/tortas), and we’ll have our usual craft beer selection featuring brews by Horsebox, Behemoth, Sparks, McLeods and Garage Project.
The bar menu is available from 5pm, so come early for a bite to eat because the tasting starts at 7pm sharp.
