Ferment for Good - Christchurch

MORE INFO // TICKETS HERE

Join us for an afternoon and evening seminar with Australia's leading fermentation practitioner, Sharon Flynn. Author of "Ferment for Good" and founder of The Fermentary.

Drawing on several decades of learning, experimenting and honing her knowledge across four continents, Sharon will take you on a journey into the alluring world of fermenting. She will demonstrate how to cultivate living, full flavour, gut loving, nutrient dense ferments on your kitchen benchtop.

The morning session will focus on popular fermented beverages including Kefir and Kombucha and then after supper, Sharon will demonstrate all about kraut, kimchi, and the vegetable ferments. This is an invitation to an ancient food revival - raw, wild, slow and above all utterly delicious.

Places are limited to 25 people.  Everyone will receive water kefir grains to take away and a tasting plate of fermented foods and beverages made from the recipes in Sharon's book will be served as a light supper. If you have special dietary requirements we won't be offended if you bring your own provisions.
