My name is Deb and I’m a writer, blogger and resident here at XCHC.

My dream is for this blog to be a place where writers can share their stories, connect with others and develop their work; so I’ve volunteered to make sure that happens!

The mission of XCHC is to be “a place for creative individuals and organisations to develop their practice, share ideas, and connect with other creative practitioners so that we build an empowered and inspired creative community”. Sounds cool right?

As part of this purpose of cultivating a creative ecology, I want to give this blog a new focus, OUR COMMUNITY! I am calling on any local writers to use this blog as a platform for developing their story telling/writing abilities, and help us tell Real stories about Real people in our community.
