A Very Empress Christmas

We invite you to join Empress Theatre Collective for our second not-quite-annual evening of festive readings, stories, poems and music, ranging from traditional stories and contemporary fairy tales, to twitter jokes and the odd accordion-accompanied carol. 

This is a relaxed family-friendly event, although the bar will be open for the grown ups. The cafe will also be open prior to the 7:30 start, and we can promise that none of the food will look like the baffling banana Christmas candles in the event picture (unless, perhaps, you want it to?).

Entry is by koha, and please be generous! As with all our performances we will be donating all proceeds to a local social enterprise or charity, and for this performance we've chosen Youthline. You can find out more about their work here: https://www.youthline.co.nz/
